For as far as I know, the second applies and is the number limited to 30
because in most models when using more than 30 wires (in a single plane)
these wires would too much intersect each other.

However note that this limit applies to all wires connected to a single
segment. If you would connect 16 or more wires to each side of a segment
the limit is also violated.

That's why in the Nec2DXS.exe executables, I increased this limit to 60...
