I decided to look at the "Loaded Dipole" issue only after I saw a lot of
traffic about it. I happened to look at Chuck's quote of Tuli's inquiry in
Chuck's posting dated Sunday, which lists several discrete bands, and talks
about proximity coupling. I take it that somewhere in the back-and-forth
the subject has changed to broadband short antennas. If the objective is to
get 20-160 MHz operation with a 1 m monopole, I'll stay away from that one.
Multiband yes, broadband no.
