NEC-LIST: Can NEC2 deal with patch antenna?

Dear all,
Is it possible for NEC2 do deal with patch antenna?
I read NEC2 User's Guide, it emphasizes on wire antenna, but there's no
example in which 'antenna with area' is calculated.
Or is there any open source code that can deal with Patch antenna,
