Mirko,
I am not sure what you mean by "taking something out file to
calculate a magnitude that agrees with theory"???
As far as I am concerned NEC-4D calculates near fields that agree
with measurement. In a paper I presented at the AP-S Symposium, June
2004, Monterey, CA, I reported on validation of NEC based on
extensive accurate MF antenna experiments, including near fields ---
we measured E and H fields beneath the elevated radials of a monopole
antenna --- radial height 3m, measurement height 1.5m. The NEC
values are NOT multiplied by an "incomprehensible factor"!!!

for MF Antenna Design", AP-S Symposium, Secial Session
