NEC-LIST: Slot antenna question

Is my theory of a slot dipole correct?

* The conductive sheet is infinite
* The sheet is vertical
* The slot is horizontal
* The slot is fed across the center
* The radiation occurs at the ENDS of the slot- these short,
vertical ends act as two short vertical dipoles
* Radiation from the horizontal slot is cancelled

A NEC-2 model of works and agrees with this.
