Good day,
Even though I wasted some people's time on my code, the run
results pointed out that the version I was using has more
problems. The impedance values in my results had a 50 %
bigger spread than those from GNEC. When I used this
version on another problem, a small antenna, it gave
negative resistance values, while NEC2DXS1K5.exe gave nice
positive ones. The executable in question is called
DNEC4MS.exe and may have been part of the original
distribution. Anyway, I found I have another compiled
version for 5,000 segments, and it gives correct results in
all cases. And it's not fussy about integer input in float
positions.
Thanks again,
Doug Miron
