Users of the EZNEC program know that several different types of information
can be placed into the frequency sweep "Data File", including source data,
load data, and pattern analysis data. All of this is controlled via the
Frequency Sweep panel that you see by clicking Setups then Frequency Sweep
on the main EZNEC window.
I wanted a way to plot this information without having to do a lot of cut
and paste or manual entry of the numbers into a spreadsheet, so I wrote an
Excel application called EZPlots to automate the process. EZPlots can read
the Data File that may be produced with an EZNEC frequency sweep and then
generate plots such as Max Gain vs. frequency, Front/Back ratio versus
frequency, Source R and X versus frequency, etc., as well as the standard
SWR plot that EZNEC itself can show.
I'm happy to share the EZPlots program with anyone who wants it. More
details and a free download file may be found at
www.qsl.net/ac6la/ezwpintro.html . Requires Excel 97 or later.
