I recently saw an article on the use of a ground plane with rolled edges
with a Y-shaped DF system. This was supposed to give very good
performance at low take-off angles. For the life of me though, I cannot
recall which Journal/Newsletter it was in though. Will shove the
problem in my Megasecond Access Memory (MAM) and see if the solution
pops up.
