Although I have not used this instrument, you might check out the EMR-20,
EMR-30, EMR-200 and EMR-300 handheld radiation meters. The specs are
at www.safety-test-solutions.de/emf/us/prod/emr.htm. I believe in the US
that Wavetek Wandel Goltermann distributes these instruments, although
it seems like I heard something about Narda doing it now... I heard from
the rep that these instruments start at around $4500. I got a quote to rent
one for 30-days at about $850 for the EMR-20.
