Look at IEEE Std. 149 on Antenna Measurements. Info is also available
in several texts, including texts on the measurement of radar cross
section (RCS). The various papers by Richard Johnson of Georgia Tech
also may be of interest, as he was involved in getting the compact
range concept started.
