I have a code (3/4ths done) in FORTRAN 77 for scattering by a
lossy sphere using Mie series formulation. The formulation
does consider lossy dielectric spheres.
What I am currently adding to the present code is the computation
of legendre functions for calculating the far zone E_{theta} and
E_{phi} fields.
I did check - so far - the results for normalized backscattering
cross-section, and they seem to agree well with the published data
from Skolnik and other sources.
I would be glad to share the code on NEC list once it is done, and
for validation purposes against other computation(s)/ measurements.
NOTE: I had sent an e-mail reply to Dr. Miller regarding this, earlier.
