Hello,
In further testing of an adaptive sampling method for minimizing the
number of samples needed to estimate a frequency transfer function to
a prescribed uncertainty, some results for a lossy, penetrable object
would be very helpful. I wonder if anyone has an existing program for
computing the scattered field from a lossy sphere or similar target
that might be used to generate the needed data without too much
effort? I'm trying to avoid having to develop a program from
scratch to do this myself.
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who would be able to provide such
data. Please contact me if you're interested and I will tell you the
specifics of what kind of data would be most useful. Of course, in
any further use of the data on my part, I would give appropriate
attribution to the source of the data.
Thanks,
Ed Miller
