NEC-LIST: tapered elements with NEC-2?

Is it possible to calculate antennas (yagis) with tapered elements with
NEC-2 (different element diameters on one element)? - If yes, how?
If not, will NEC-4 do the job, where can I get NEC-4 (price?)?
I am a student in electronic and close to finish my studies - could do a
dissertation where I need this.
