Need your Recommendation(s).

   Greetings Folks:

   I would need your input on two elementary questions:

   (1) please suggest a good book for picking up FORTRAN-90 from almost
       scratch to a mature level.

   (2) want to learn C++ and I am not familiar with C at all.

   My knowledge of computing language(s) are:

   (a) FORTRAN-77 (b) MATLAB (language or software ?)

   I am familiar with IMSL (extensive) and NAG (feeble) math. libraries.

   Hope the above information is sufficient.
