Additional note on the wiregrid code (thanks to Harold Snyder):
The code in wiregrid.zip listed on the NEC page can be run using a
DOS emulator called DOSBox (www.dosbox.com), which emulates most
versions of DOS. I had installed and tested it, and wiregrid ran well.

The code in wiregrid.zip listed there is probably designed for DOS
versions before Windows 95, and doesn't run on Windows XP (even in
DOS mode). However, the code in wg_211.zip (from EMSS) still runs on
Windows XP.
