You may discover when you receive your NEC-4 manual accompanying the license
that it is already in good form. At least, my 1997 copy (of the January,
1992 manual) uses up-to-date fonts, formats, equation presentation, and
graphics. So you might well decide that you have expended all of the energy
necessary on the NEC-2 project, which is outstanding in readability.
However, your earlier idea of collecting and printing in one place all of
the corrections and main-line modifications to both cores would indeed serve
a downright noble purpose.
