Hello,
My division at the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas is
continuing to search for an experienced numerical modeler to fill a research
engineer position. The person MUST be a US citizen and able to obtain a DOD
security clearance.
The position requires an MSEE with a focus on electromagnetics, antennas,
and numerical modeling. A graduating masters level student with experience
in modeling research and code development experience would be excellent.
This is NOT a code developing position but rather a code USER position. The
primary duty is to utilize codes such as NEC, WIPL, CST, and NECBSC to
advance research in the use of these codes for specialized application, most
of which relate to direction finding systems. The person must also have
experience in MATLAB programming and experience in optimization schemes such
as Genetic Algorithms is also desired. The focus is on research using
established electromagnetic numerical models.
Please have potential candidates contact me at klysiak_at_swri.org or
210-522-5776.
