There is a nice little utility that comes as part of the DVIWIN
distribution at (http://www.ctan.org/tex-
archive/dviware/dviwin/?filename=dviware/dviwin/README&preferredCTAN
=ftp.duke.edu&action=/getfile/) that is called clipmeta. (There is
another version available called clipmet2.exe). This program will
copy the clipboard to a metafile (*.WMF) for use in programs. Of
course, it is a bitmap. Other programs like IrfanView can capture
a window, as can many commercial graphics packages. IrfanView can
be save such a graphic as a GIF, JPEG, or many other graphics
formats. Bill
