NEC-LIST: SuperNEC 2.5

Hi everyone

Just a quick e-mail to let everyone know that the latest version of SuperNEC
(namely 2.5) has been released and, as usual, a free version is available to
non-commercial users. The main emphasis of the new version was speed
increase and to make it easier to use. This was achieved by optimizing the
engine for various PC architectures, making it up to ten times faster than
before.

A number of new assemblies were added such as: UTD disk, UTD triangle, UTD
rectangular pipe. New MOM assemblies added include: Quadrifilar Helix, Horn
Antenna, Discone, a new SuperNEC file assembly has been added to convert
NEC2 type files to a format that can be read by the existing snecfile
assembly.

Well those are some of the major changes. The full list of modifications is
in the release notes.
