You can change the number of segments allowed for an in-core solution by
altering IRESRV. But if it is set too large, the page-file capacity will be
exceeded. Also, if you try an in-core run with too many segments, the
program will not run because the disk starts thrashing. With an out-of-core
solution you also get problems.
The major limiting factor is the size of the interaction matrix, which is
8N^2 bytes for the single-precision version. For example, with 10000
segments N=10000 and the matrix size is 763MB, and your RAM store should be
20-30% larger than that.

Hi to all,
Sorry for my bad english.
I use the 4nec2 program and i see that there is a limitation for the maximum
number of segments and / or patches that i can use for generate the geometry
(11000).
I would say if this is a software limitation or if it is due to the
operative system (windows). If is a software limitation, is possible to
enlarge this number or is blocked? or if is due to the operative system,
which other I can use and for how many segments-patches?
Thanks in advance to all for yours helps.
