Scott and others,
Concerning your reply about the answer you received on your
average-gain question saying it's invalid to use negative Theta
angles for this calculation, I again did some testing because
I was wondering how it was possible that I did not notice this
behavour in the past.
I used both a simple dipole and a 16 element yagi for this over
perfect ground and in free-space, but noticed no difference
between using one of below RP cards
GN 1 ' Using perfect ground
RP 0 10 37 1001 -90.0 0.0 10.0 10.0 ' Theta from -90 to 0
RP 0 10 37 1001 0.0 0.0 10.0 10.0 ' Theta from 0 to 90
GN -1 ' Using free space
RP 0 19 37 1001 -180.0 0.0 10.0 10.0 ' Theta from -180 to 0
RP 0 19 37 1001 0.0 0.0 10.0 10.0 ' Theta from 0 to 180
Anybody with comments on this..?
Arie.
