Comparing performances on a model of 3 dipoles connected at a common point
(a 10,20,40 m multiband) with 265 segments, on Win2000Pro, P4, 1.7 GHz,
512MB ram.. etc.etc.etc.
Generating near Efield plot on a 21x41x13 grid...

4nec2 4.3.2 using Nec2dx engine: total time 29.330s, fill .930, factor .550
using 2dxs engine: total time 36.906s, fill 1.397, factor 0.359

4nec2 5. using Nec2dx engine: 30.160 secs, fill .990, factor .500
          using Nec2dxs 38.156, fill 1.359, factor .344

I notice that CPU utilization goes in bursts... 100% for about a second or
two, drops very low, then back to full power.. but that might be some
interaction with other stuff going on.. (I've got a couple of instances of
Eudora running, as well as some anti virus stuff, and, most problematic,
the IBM AFS client)
