RE: NEC-LIST: normal mode helices

For a simple, practical review of Helical antennas, refer to the ARRL Antenna
Handbook, Chapter 19 of my version.
But a 1.8 MHz helix would be 170-180 feet in diameter.??? Did you mean 1.8 GHz?

Could someone point me toward paper articles
or reference on normal mode helix ?
The only reference I have is Small Antennas, but the math behind
this subject is hard to understand on that book.
I'm interested in 1.8 Mhz applications.
