Pat,
Nice to hear from you. As others have mentioned, method of moments is based
on solving for the currents on the structure so the normal default for NEC
is to print all segment currents to the output file. The PT command is used
to specify the printing of the currents and a PT -2 will force the printing
of all currents. Most if not all values output from NEC are maximum values.
NECWin Pro and GNEC packages from Nittany Scientific provide utilities to
view these currents in terms of Magnitude (linear and dB), Real, Real(abs),
Imaginary, Imaginary(abs), and Phase.
I also have some FORTRAN and MATLAB utilities that extract the NEC output
to enable "video" viewing of the current as angle on incidence or frequency
change. The work typically shown by Trueman and Kubina at ACES is also based
on these currents.

Subject: NEC-LIST: Currents
It is possible to output the currents on all segments of a structure in NEC.
But exactly what current is being output? I have hunted through the code but
have not had much joy.

Pat Foster
