just tried to reproduce your 'problem' but did not succeed.
Runned a frequency-sweep with 140 frequencies (with only 2 far-field points
however and on Windows-95...) without problems.
Could you send me your nec-file so I can try to reproduce and find out
what's
causing your trouble.

p.s. If you used 4nec2 for this, what number of freq-steps did you specify
under
'Settings-> Memory usage -> Max nr freq/eval steps' ?
