I still haven't totally given up on integrating the NEC-2 ground
routines into the ASAP wire simulator. However, if you are interested
in ASAP, I have found the bug which has plagued me for 9 months and
fixed it. The bug gave some antennas the wrong feedpoint Z.
My Python code now also has much more comments it, so you can discover
how an antenna simulator works, without wading thru thousands of GO TO
statements in FORTRAN :) I'm hoping some smart hams might like to help
out, or create their own derivative programs.
I use EZNEC, WIPL-D, and ASAP for antenna simulation. They all have
their strengths and weaknesses. But my Python code is the only one out
of the three that you can read, modify, and do whatever you wish with.
Sincerely, Rob N3FT
