NEC-LIST:Genetic Algorithm optimiser

Hi All

If anyone is interested in optimising antenna designs, SuperNEC 2.3 now
includes a Genetic Algorithm optimiser that is easy and very effective to
use.

The optimiser can currently optimise for VSWR and/or Gain over a single or
multiple frequency(s). The advantage of running a Genetic Algorithm
optimisation is that it searches for a 'global' optimal solution, compared
to many other optimisation techniques which are only able to optimise for a
single antenna ouput characteristic at a time (this is normally looped until
an acceptable solution is obtained). Thus not always leading to the Global
optimum.

An evaluation version of SuperNEC 2.3 (including the GA optimiser) is
available for download at www.supernec.com
