NEC-LIST: dielectric loading of wires?

Hey Guys...

I have made some good progress on my Mathematica-NEC engine.

The meander loaded dipole I have been working on had been behaving.

My initial problems with strange results were the result of wiring error
and other such things.

Thanks for everybody's input on that.

So.. I have a antenna simulated now and a prototype constructed. This
is supposed to be a small resonant antenna, so the bandwidth is small
(about 3%)

The prototype comes in resonant at about 4% low.

Ok... it is printed on 15 mill FR4, and I did not model this dielectric
loading.

The question is.... how do I account for this.

I tried using the Parallel and Series loading that used the Z/unit
length (more to the point Farads/m) input.

My simulation blew up for all but what seemed to be non-physical
capacitive loading.

IN the uF/m range of parallel loading my port Z looked reasonable and
smooth over frequency, but most of the pattern data was pegged at -999.99dB

can I get a few words on how to account for dielectric coatings on the
wires, or in my case, the thin dielectric substrate the wires are printed on

Thanks Guys

Wayne Shanks
