NEC-LIST:Effects of boom-to-element connections on YAGI

Hello all & greetings from Israel.
Two questions please:
A. How does one take into account the plates that rest on the boom and
hold the elements, in a "plumbers-delight" type of construction?
B. Which is better - a square plate or a rectangular one?

I don't have a clue how to simulate such plates on a
3 element, tapered hf beam for 10 meters which I'm modelling.
