NEC-LIST: Stack Fault error running NEC2D

I'm using the NEC2D modules as compiled by Jos Bergervoet and made available
at Ray Anderson's Unofficial NEC Archives page. These are also included in
Arie's 4nec2 package. Running under Windows Me on a machine with 256M of
RAM all works as expected. On a different PC using Windows XP Home Edition
and with 512M of RAM results in a "Stack Fault" error. This is always the
case no matter the size of the model or the executable used (NEC2D,
NEC2D960, etc.).

I admit total ignorance as to whether this might be a "Windows XP" or a
"512M RAM" problem. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.
