NEC-LIST: CVF and NEC

I compiled NEC2 with Compaq Digital Fortran using the Intel LAPACK. It
works very fast and nice BUT I wanted to compile a version with 11K
segments and I got this message:

warning LNK4084: total image size 1941540864 exceeds max (268435456);
image may not run

and as a matter of fact, the program doesn't run.

Is there a solution for this. I will be needing even larger number of
segments since I will be running a very large model. I noticed the
compiled version has a DOS-Extender. How do I do this. Will it work
with CVF?
