There is a paper by R Formato, Design widband antennas, Electronics
World, Oct. 1977, pp. 825-829 where he claims coverage from 6-150 MHz.
I have a feeling though that the length is too large for this
application. Also, I suspect the pattern will break up quite
drastically at higher frequencies. Unfortunately the only parameters
of interest are efficiency (understandable) and VSWR.
