NEC-LIST: Running NEC

Dear All,

I am an university student trying to learn how to use the NEC
properly. Can someone please point me in the right direction for
proper documentation (perhaps online), references, examples, etc.?
Specifically, I wish to model the radiation pattern emitted from the
antenna of a small student-built micro-satellite.
