The problem might be with the assumption that the transmission lines
are "perfectly matched". Although the dipole impedances might equal
the transmission line impedance when they are isolated, the impedances
can and will change very significantly when they are driven. This is
due to mutual coupling between them. You can confirm that this is
taking place by looking at the impedances at the dipole centers when
the transmission lines are attached.
