Source code and executable versions of NEC-2 and related utilities for
PC's, Macintoshes, and various UNIX workstation platforms (Linux, IBM
RS6000 and SUN) are all available from Ray Anderson's unofficial NEC
archive:
http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu/swindex.html
and Todd Hubing's mirror of the unofficial NEC archive which is located
at:
ftp://ftp.emclab.umr.edu/pub/aces/NEC
See, for example, nec2.linux.Z and nec2.linux_src.tar.Z .
Also, check out nec2pp_1.2.tar, a nec2 executable and graphic post
processor for Linux. It is based on a version of NEC2 slightly modified
and on the graphic package "yorick". NEC2 source code, executable,
yorick npp script, somnec, and numerous example antenna files included.
And, check out xnecview-0.1.tar, a program for previewing NEC2 structure
files (Unix/X-windows). Allows zoom in, zoom out, rotation and panning.
The author expects that it should compile on most Unix systems. Includes
C source code, Makefile and Imakefile and brief README docs. Distributed
under GNU GPL.
