Dear Colleagues

CONFERENCE ON EMA FINITE-DIFFERENCE TIME-DOMAIN SOFTWARE

A conference will be held at Bradford University (England)on 15 and 16
January 1998, focused on developments in, and applications of, the
Finite-Difference Time-Domain electromagnetic field computation
program EMA3D, which is an evolutionary development of THREDE, one of
the oldest FDTD programs for free-field electromagnetics.

This program was extensively used at Bradford University in the IBREHT
project, (Interaction of the Body with Radiated Emissions from
Hand-Held Transceivers), which modelled the effect of the fields from
a mobile telephone adjacent to the human head. It has been
extensively used in the aerospace industry (its original primary
function), but it is capable of modelling printed circuit boards,
antennas, vehicles, enclosures, etc, etc.

For Europe, this is a rare opportunity to interact with the American
support team for this software and to hear from other users, including
the Bradford team.

Details and a registration form are attached and they can also be
found at our web site:
