NEC-LIST: suggested pre and post processors

I am fairly new to NEC, although I tried to use it a bit years ago. Now, I
have several problems that I would like to look at that involve creating
simple antennas embedded in complex vehicles, etc. For this reason, it
would be VERY advantageous to have a way of creating the input file
graphically, and to be able to view the output file graphically. I
understand there is a program called needs that allows you to view the
output files, but I have not been able to find it. I have not been able to
find too much in the way of a good input file generator. It seems to me
that I saw something a couple of years ago that could take a dxf or iges or
some sort of graphical file and create a NEC input file from it, but I could
be mistaken.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what pre and post processors to use.
What is commonly done in the industry? I understand that Matlab has a good
package available, but I don't have Matlab, and it is out of my price range.
I do have DaDisp, Mathematica, and Mathcad, but I don't believe there is
anything available for them, or is there?

I am running a Pentium under win95, but I also have Linux available, so I
don't really care if the preferred software is windows or unix (as long as
it can run under Linux.)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ed
