I was recently contacted by Peter Sterzu (not sure of spelling of last name).
He's involved in developing a system to treat heart arrhythmia by selective
burning of nerves with 2.45 GHz energy. His need is to characterize the antenna.
It's a normal-mode helix of many (tens) of turns which is inserted within the
heart. It's encapsulated in dielectric, and has dielectrics and conductors in
the center. Anyone who would be able to help in this modeling and/or recommend
the best software for the job is requested to contact him directly at
peterst_at_ix.netcom.com.
Thanks!
