Equation (84) relative to Extended Thin-wire approximation
can be written as: E(rho,z)=X*Y2
where X=-j(mu)/(2*k*k*lamda*rho)
and Y2=[(z'-z)I....G2..........
Equation (71) relative to Thin-wire approximation
can be written as: E(rho,z)=X*Y0
and Y0=[(z'-z)I....G0..........
if a ---> 0, (Extended Thin-wire approximation) ---> (Thin-wire approximation)
(84) ---------------> (71)
However: if a ---> 0, according to Equation (92) : G2 ---> G0/rho
and Y2 ---> Y0/rho
so, E(rho,z)=X*Y2 ---> X*Y0/rho to be compared to Equat. (71): E(rho,z)=X*Y0 !
In conclusion, I think that the error may be in Equation (84)
which must be :
E(rho,z)=rho*X*Y2 and not E(rho,z)=X*Y2
