New software: EZNEC-M

               ANNOUNCING EZNEC-M ANTENNA MODELING SOFTWARE

        A High Segment Count Version of EZNEC For The Professional

EZNEC-M has all the features of the popular EZNEC antenna modeling
program, plus the ability to model antennas with more than 2800
segments, and a limited ability to read NEC files.

Many of you are familiar with EZNEC, so its features will be given only
briefly:

        - NEC-2 calculating engine including SOMNEC ground model.
        - Graphical antenna pattern output. Ability to save, recall, and
          superimpose patterns.
        - Spreadsheet-like entry of antenna description. Multiple
          features to easily modify antenna such as Rotate Wire, Change
          Length, Group Edit.
        - Rotatable, positionable, 3-D antenna view with currents.
        - Frequency sweep with selected data printed or saved to a file.
        - Correction for NEC-2 problem with stepped wire diameters, for
          wires near primary resonance.
        - Current source models, and automatic "split" sources for
          placement at wire junctions.
        - Intelligent use of memory. The disk is used for virtual memory
          only after all available RAM has been used.

In addition to full compatibility with EZNEC, EZNEC-M can directly read
NEC input files. The following "cards" are read and translated: CE, CM,
EK, EN, EX, FR, GD, GN, GE, GS, GW, LD, NX, RP, TL, XQ. Other "cards"
are ignored.

Please note: EZNEC-M is not a "pre-" or "post-processor" for NEC-2, but
a compiled, completely self-contained program with a proprietary
input/output interface. A number of NEC features haven't been
implemented in EZNEC-M, including patches, wire arcs and helices,
symmetry, and near field and ground wave analyses.

EZNEC-M requires a 386 or higher processor with coprocessor, at least 2
Mb of available extended RAM, and EGA/VGA/SVGA graphics. Epson-
compatible dot-matrix printers and HP LaserJet and color and monochrome
DeskJet printers are supported. EZNEC-M is a DOS application which can
be run under DOS, Windows 3.xx, Windows 95, or Windows NT.

Price: $325.00 postpaid to U.S. and Canada. Upgrade to EZNEC-M from
EZNEC is $275.00. If EZNEC was purchased within 30 days of EZNEC-M
purchase, the full EZNEC price will be credited toward the EZNEC-M
upgrade (for an upgrade price of $236.00). Please add $3.00 for shipment
