Folks:
I have to urgently run NEC to model an array of sources (having some
pattern) on a cylindrical surface. Yes, you guessed it right ! I am
trying to figure out the how the far-field patterns of a cylindrical
conformal array would be.
Please:
(1) if I can do so using NEC, without any tricky hassles, and,
(2) where (WWW/ ftp/ other sources) can I access the code to run
my case ?
I believe that NEC-BSC cannot do the same because antennas need to
be mounted OFF the cylinder surface, at least by a quarter of a
wavelength. (Essentially it is not a radiation problem, in that
case.)
Would greatly appreciate your input(s).
- cheers,
